Neena and Kumar meet while on a trip in Kashmir and eventually fall in love. However, another man, Shyam, discovers that Neena is the heir to a large fortune and schemes to win her.

Neena, in the company of her mom, and several female friends, travels to a remote holiday spot, and stay overnight at a lodge. A young man named Kumar also attends at this lodge, claiming to be the owner, and asking the caretaker, Shyam, to get rid of the intruders.

An honest but unemployed young man, Yogen, falls for the wealthy, independent Sadhana after a chance encounter, but his desperate circumstances lead to a crime tried by Sadhana's own father, the prosecutor, creating a profound social and legal barrier to their love.

Dr. Satish travels from the big city to a small village, where he can serve the poor who cannot afford to go to the city for medical treatment. His parents want him to marry Kamini, and he agrees to do so. Sunil lives with his mom and sister in a middle-class dwelling in Delhi, India. He works for Chopra & Co., Chartered Accountants. He comes across a beautiful woman posing for a painting, and thinks she is poor and needy, and gives her a tip. The woman's name is Anita, and both are attracted to each other. Sunil and Anita intend to marry, and Sunil even introduces Anita to his mom. One day when attending a party, Sunil is shocked to learn that Anita is a multi-millionaire. Stunned at this deception, he swears he will have nothing to do with her. When Anita attempts to sooth things over, Sunil does cool down.
